First New Manufacturer Enters the TT - The First Chinese Bike at the Isle of Man TT

CFMOTO and WK Bikes make history at the TT - the first Chinese manufacturer to enter the race and the first new manufacturer in 50 years!

Built from the standard WK 650i or CFMOTO 650 and developed into a full race bike to compete at the Isle of Man TT in the lightweight class. Australian David Johnson will be riding the bike, he had a top 15 finish in both the Superstock and Superbike races  with a fastest lap of 125.831mph.

We worked for the first year in 2013 with highly regarded Road Race engine builder Sammy Crossett to develop the popular WK650i.

Speaking about the TT, a spokesperson from WK said: "the race is synonymous not only with thrilling riding, but is also recognised worldwide as providing one of the best platforms to launch and develop motorcycles."

UK fans were treated to a glympse of the new race bike at Motorcycle Live at the NEC Birmingham.
